Its name is “Rock News”- and it is the first international radio news bulletin dedicated entirely to rock.
“Rock News” is the new daily music broadcast, updated every day; a classic radio/tv bulletin of five minutes, wholly devoted to rock and its many nuances. Created by music blogger and media expert Frank Lavorino from Bologna, Italy, “Rock News” is currently airing on more than 170 italian fm and web radio stations every day; the program is produced daily from Monday to Saturday.
Like a regular newscast, with theme song, headlines and dedicated presenters, “Rock News” deals with information and transgression at the same time.Just some of the areas to be covered will be elements of music journalism like international gigs, most recent releases and press statements, all combined with familiar aspects of your typical news bulletin.
The format aims to provide a place where underground bands from all around the world can meet and effectively circulate their news, as well as a reliable means of daily music information; Rock News intends to be a brand new and gratis promotional source for the huge number of underground groups that access websites, festivals, worldwide editorial staff and radio stations mailboxes,in a period of economic hardship that also effects the music industry.
