A native of the East Coast, Amy worked in advertising and publishing in New York and Boston before a permanent move to Italy in 1989. Since then she has undertaken the multiple roles of translator, copywriter, ESL teacher and voiceover artist. Her enthusiasm for music, the world of audio and the power of radio to connect and transport has propelled her to seek out a more active role in this sphere by joining the team of Rock News announcers. Admittedly eclectic in her music tastes, Amy listens to mainstream rock, jazz, folk, and a healthy dose of indie broadcast from around the world.
